I need soem help please.
The iphone i got was unlocked, and worked fine. Than I restored the factory settings, using the 1 hour reset, and connected it to itunes and clicked "restore" to try and make something work. Instead now it does not sync to itunes, getting a error, or nothing at all. And when I turn it on, it is stuck in emergency call mode, and I cannot do anything.
I have tried to put it in DFU mode to unlock it again, but its not working.
Im not sure what to do, is there a manual way I can put a different firmware on? Or any other way to jail break and unlock it other than Pwnage? Im desperate.

Tnxs

Have you tried just restoring it with the original apple firmware?

Put into restore mode (hold top and bottom button till it turns off and then continue holding bottom button till you see recovery symbol and itunes will detect it) and click restore and itunes will download the up to date firmware to sort it out,

After that you can unlock it again with pwnage

Hope this helps

I-phone stuck in emergency mode

I'm having that same problem. My 2g phone is stuck in emergency mode only. I could use the info if anybody has it. My service is with t-mobile...help!

Like I said iTunes does not detect it. When it was unlocked it detected it in itunes, but then in iTunes I did the restore to factory settings, and now it is locked, and iTunes wont detect it (sometimes it detects it, but an error pops up because I dont have an active SIM)

Ok heres what i did when i was trying to update my phone to 2.2.1 and it became an iBrick after updating through iTunes and going into "Emergency Mode Only" and "Not Active Sim Card". I downloaded 2.0.2 and winpwn 2.5, i followed the directions, and kept playing around until the phone was detected by winpwn. then my phone was unlocked and ready to go but i wanted to get 2.2.1 my computer won't work with quickpwn so i used a buddies computer and got 2.2.1 installed without a hitch. Turns out for some reason my USB is not reading my iphone correctly (i guess it's reading as USB 1.1 and not 2.0). so try that and u should not have a problem bringing your phone back to life. Also i was able to make and receive phone calls with my phone and T-Mobile Sim Card so my phone wasn't really an iBrick at all. :p

I remember would my friends first gen iPhone it wasn't detected,

What I tried was plugging it in and holding the home button for a while and then it was reconised
