HELP! Iphone loops in recovery mode

my home button stopped working. So I decided to restore my phone to see if it was a software issue.

Now it continues to say that its in recovery mode and loops. After it says it verifies the iphone restore firmware and restores it., the phone goes back to the pop up that its in recovery mode.

can someone pls help
