HELP: Iphone not receiving text messages after upgrading to 3.0.1

HELP!

My phone = Iphone 2G
Version = 3.0.1
Working = all apps / Cydia / games / photo / etc
Not working = Message app

After i upgraded my phone to version 3.0.1, im getting problems.

- I can actually receive text messages as i see it truncated in my main page window (where my wallpaper is). I then slide to unlock my phone and click the "messages" app button on the upper left. When the application opens, it is blank. The message isn't there.

-I try sending myself text messages. I receive them but its also the same as the above. It doesn't get saved.

What should i do? can i re-install my "message" application? Is there another "message" app that i can install?

This is the risk you take when you jailbreak. Restore it and do a clean install as a new iPhone. That'll fix it for ya.
