Hey guys, I have gotten into a serious mess and really need a way out. So here's the deal, I had Cydia on my iPhone 4 (had totally forgotten about it), and I reset the phone (All contents and Settings) from the Settings menu.

Now, the loading spinner has been running for the past 8 hours. The power button does not work, so I cannot do a hard reset. The phone is not being detected by my computer and won't show up in iTunes.

Here's what I'm hoping for: when the phone battery runs off, I plug it back in and the phone will start. At that point, I can do a restore from iTunes. Do you think this will work? Any ideas on how I can drain the battery faster?

Please help :(

Thanks a bunch. I finally got it work.

Basically, I let the phone's battery die. Then I plugged it in back to iTunes, the phone started and I did a restore through iTunes. Worked like a charm.
