I was just putting my phone in the dock because it was getting out of battery, itunes opened and was re-syncing my phone and i see a big orange bar(data) that took about a half of the memory limit.

HELP?

have to resync.. :(

Have you click on the iphone to see what was sync? It might be a movie clip or something you have on your Itunes. Check that out and let us know.

it was a automatic sync.. and it syncs the music/videos/mail on the libary.

currently im trying to find where the files are kept on the phone via SSH. No luck so far. :(

EDIT:I might try restoring my iphone, but if that happens, will i lose my jailbreak?

I would say your problem is a few lines above that....UPDATE your iPhone to 2.1 like it is telling you and it should fix your problem. If you do not want the newest software then remove all music/videos/apps...everything from your iPhone and start over. Either way you have to reset your data.

Good Luck

just found some software called 'DiskAid'
helped a load.
(go into itunesmedia, and delete the songs folder..)
