My iPhone will not reset. It is stuck on the apple logo and when I connect it to iTunes it does not let me sync or more importantly restore it. Is there anything I can do to get it working again? Is there any way to restore the phone other than through iTunes? Last time this happened to me I went to the apple store they were able to fix it by restoring it. This time however I am not able to get a ride to the apple store so PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Force it into DFU mode.

First connect the phone to your computer and open iTunes
hold the home and sleep/wake button until the screen turns off then hold the home button. The screen shouldn't turn on. iTunes should recognize the phone, then restore it.
