Hello everyone, I'm still learning about my amazing mac, (switched over from PC and I wish I would have sooner).

Anyways, I purchased one of those "6000 fonts package deal." So I copied and pasted them into the hard drive -> system -> library -> fonts folder.

Now my iBook is really, really, really slow when I try and open Adobe, Word, Pages, and Thunderbird since it's trying to read all of those fonts.

I have ran all of the maintence scripts and programs like Onyx, Mainmenu, and others to try and optimize my system.

How can I get rid of all those fonts and revert back to what my iBook originally came with?

Thanks for all of your help! I really, really appreciate it!

Cheers, Jmo

Go into that same folder and delete some fonts.

Edit: You might be able to look at the date modified on the files to figure out which one's you added.
