Hi I have a macbook pro mid 2014

Just today i sat and opened firefox browser to browse the web

However my keys are mistyping letters in the url box!

I tried chrome and it too showed the same problem

Then i tried typing in textedit and typing is better there!

I tried resetting nvram by option cmd pr but that didn't help!

How the typing errors appear? Happens at which keyboard area? Have you tried on Safari? Why Textedit works fine for it?

Hmm, maybe you can report your issue using this format. Just plainly asking for help would not help solving the problem, as only you know how something goes wrong.

Describe your issue using those with red underline. Don't bother about those with Red Cross. Other members would really like to help you if you can describe your issue extensively.
PS: also ignore the last item.

Listen dude, its really easy, give us a sample of what you type and what the machine shows.

Try answering some questions and not just waving your arms and saying "help".

We all are but keyboard do and will fail.

they are have moving parts and the membrane can fail.

We see a lot of faulty keyboards at work.

Actually have a box of 200 faulty keyboards we use for spares.

Make sure you haven't got any keys stuck down (left arrow for example)

So does it ever type a different letter or is your example pretty consistent?

Macs are made of hardware, hardware fails from time to time

Yeah so say i wanna type apple it will type it but then it will highlight this word and so typing the next word deletes the first word.

And so on.. Any fix before i take it to apple hardware?
