I have some Airpod Pros.
Working fine, no problems at all.

Today I go to put them on for my run and only the right side is working.
There is no audio at all coming from the left side Pro.

I tried to disconnect and forget device from my iPhone.
I also reset the Pros.
I *think* I've done everything that is has been suggested to try and still no audio
from the left side.

I wear them while I run and I'm wondering if my the left side is ruined because of sweat?
I mean I can't think of anything else.

They are charged 100% too.

Any suggestions on what I should try?

Thanks!

Just bought some pros and this happened to me as well. No answers but interested in what others have to say

I had a right one doing the same crap.

I’ve tried replacing ear tips with Apple ones and third-party foam tips.
I tried cleaning the speaker grill.
I tried repairing via Bluetooth with Mac and iPhone. Nothing.
I talked to Apple about it, and they said “unless you have AppleCare for a replacement, your best bet is to buy a new pair."

Not very helpful I guess, but if any of that stuff doesn’t work, you might be in the same position I was in.

Try to switch off automatic ear detection and see if that helps. I've had to do it on mine.

No idea if this is your problem but look up how to clean airpod pros online. Ear wax can get into things that will render them silent.

Just had this happen to me on a week old pair. Bummer.

I’ll give Apple another shot, then move on.

It’s probably not sweat, AirPods build quality is just crap. I bought non-Apple buds for while I was waiting for the AirPods to be repaired and ended up sticking with them.

I’m on second pair now. So far, so good. The plastic “hemispheres” ( or whatever the hard white plastic parts are called) have the slightest misalignment. Not enough to feel, but you can notice visually if you look close.

I already ordered Apple care, the foam tips everyone says are the best, and a leather case. I’ll be more upset being stuck with all these accessories if the APP don’t work out this time. I’m having a hard time processing the fact that I’m in over $350 into these things.??. I gladly walked into the Apple store and flipped my skirt up for this one after all. But just a few years ago, such a purchase would had been incomprehensible or ruinous for me. If this pair doesn’t work out, I’ll probably trade up to the AP Max?
