Help! Left arrow broken on MBP!!

Either in front of a computer or behind a camera.
Okay, so my left facing Arrow key on my MBP does not work when I hold it down. If I press it once in, say, preview it goes back one page but if I hold it down it does nothing. The right arrow key works (when I hold it it keeps cycling through pages)
Help?
 
I've got good news and....

The good news is that it is temporally (all but) impossible for your MacBook Pro to be uncovered by Apple's warranty.

(Brannigan: "Prepare to change course!"

The bad news is that I'm pretty confident that there isn't an Apple store in any area with a State Department travel warning ( ;) ) so I'm thinking you're going to have to survive a send-in/send-back. Apple does it quite well. (They should overnight you a pack that you'll use to overnight it to them.)

Oh, sorry. It was a Futurama reference to how in Star Trek they could go back in time by sling-shot-ing themselves around a planet or the sun.

According to the pure math, there's no particular reason for time to run forward only, so it's only almost certain that your MacBook is covered by the warranty, even though they introduced it less than 1 year ago.

That was it. It's pretty late, I guess. :eek:
 
You can certainly do that -- Hawking is great. But I don't think it'll help you understand my half-baked commentary.
:D

Point is, get Apple to fix your MBP. Either take it to an Apple store or call them on the phone and they'll forward you the materials to send it in.
 
I guess you should start a new "I change my mind, I hate the MBP thread!"

lol, just kidding. Looking down at my arrow keys, I see what looks like tape under the keys. I think they were either poorly constructed or had something shoved underneath them to keep at level with other keys. I would just take it straight to the Apple Store and have them repair it.
