My Tech guy at work had to reimage my macbook and my entire itunes folder was lost. I have all the music etc. on my apple TV. Can I sync my apple TV TO my macbook? I am afraid that my macbook will erase my entire apple TV content and all will be lost.

Can anyone help????

Thanks.

So you are all saying that I am basically screwed??

I think we're all NOT saying you're screwed, which speaks volumes.

:(

If I understand the world correctly (btw, I have been known to be wrong quite often) if it does exist on :apple:TV and does NOT exist in iTunes, iTunes will remove it from your :apple:TV.

Think of iTunes as a media/file server. These satellite devices have never, until the introduction of the iTunes WIFI Music store, had the ability to upload to the "server."

You might want to see if file recovery is possible on your computer.
