Help! Lots of greyed out songs in my library

I suddenly seem to have lots of greyed out songs in my music library on my phone... when I tap one to play I get this message:

But when I do what it says on my Mac, that setting is ticked and not even available...



So I am at a bit of a loss! Any ideas??

Do you have an active subscription to Apple Music or iTunes Match?

Yes I have an active Apple Music subscription...

Make sure the Apple ID logged into the iTunes account and the one shown in the greyed out part are the same (you should hide that outlook.com address when posting). And same for phone

That’s the settings, but in the top menu there is an option to initiate a sync of your library.

In Music go to "Songs" view like in the screenshot... right-click the column headers and ensure that "Cloud Status" is ticked. Everything should be Purchased, Matched, or Uploaded. Check the particular songs you're having trouble with 7 see what they show?
