Hello,

just bought a macbook air m1 i did not open it yet because the box has Russian words on it. I checked the serial number its original but i am worried about the keyboard.
On the box says:

KB-US/RUS

how will the keyboard look? I need to be sure before i open it in case i return it back to the store

You should return it to the store. If there's a question about what's on the keyboard, have them open it there.

Here's a page showing the keycaps on various Apple keyboards:

Find the string "rus" on that page to see the keyboard. The "Published" date is 2019, so it may be slightly outdated, if Apple has changed their keycaps since then.

Found with the search string: macbook keyboard layouts

If anyone is wondering, the keyboard was completely US, no russian symbols.

Was the serial number printed on the box identical to the serial number of the computer itself? If not, then it may have been reboxed.

I'm pretty sure Apple still prints the serial numbers on boxes, but I haven't had physical access to a box in at least a couple of years, so I might be wrong.
