Hi,

I recently got a new Mac Pro, to work on at my job. It is a 2 x 2.4 Ghz Quad core with 6GB of memory. The man from the mac store said, i could experience problems with my Adobe Cs4 software. At first i didn't believe him, because i thought he just wanted to sell me the update.

Now i found that my Indesign and Flash, crash more than often. I wonder, is their a problem with the new Mac Pro's and Cs4? Something about 8 bit vs. 16 bit or something?

In all likelihood, the problem doesn't lie with the Mac Pro, but instead is a oft-discussed compatibility problem with the operating system, Snow Leopard.

Here's a typical example of the discussion.

If you need it for work, then I would make upgrading to Adobe CS5 a priority.
