There is no macbook air users manual.

sry is this sounds stupid...im just helping a friend out whos looking for one.

It's just a small white booklet that has "Everything Mac" printed on it.

Are there any good indy books about the Air?

Especially for people new to it? The idea of only going online for this sort of info, doesn't really work for me.

The other book we need is one giving the inside lowdown on how the Air happened. (Not just the shiny happy spin version that we've already seen.... Ive gushing, but with utter vagueness)

There was a great book published I think after the Newton was cancelled, showing that by-the-end-great product's fascinating history... I don't recall the title or author's name. Saw it at the Strand in NYC.)
