hey ppl, i installed windows SP1 with bootcamp and obviously it failed.... now i have a problem...

i used bootcamp mamanger to delete that partitiion. but now everytime i boot up my macbook, there is a picture of an earth flashing for about 30 seconds, before the apple logo comes up... boot time takes so much longer now.... someone plz help me rectify the problem!!!

Well why did you try and install XP SP1 in the first place? You should have researched it and found out that only XP SP2 works.
 
awww,... no way... theres got to be something which can fix it.
 
I can't think of any solution. You did mess with your HD by creating a partition and installing WinXP SP1.

Back your stuff up and reformat. I don't know if this will work or not, but maybe you can use Carbon Copy Cloner and make a clone of your OSX partition, reformat, and simple put everything back to the way it was.
