Please help I'v got a problem with my 4 month old MacBook C2D. I was using it as normal until it froze (while opening M$ Word). I re-booted by holding the power button, it turned back on, I selected OS X (have boot-camp), the grey screen with Apple logo then appeared for longer than normal, the MacBook then switched itself off.

I re-started but it happened again, so I booted into Windows XP and that worked fine, tried OS X again but still nothing.

Next I opened Disk Utility from the install DVD and repaired permissions, this completed but still I have no joy - it continues to switch off a few seconds after the grey screen and Apple logo appears. Please help, I had the HDD replaced like 2 weeks ago and it has been fine up until now.

What can I do?
Thanks,

Alistair
