just found out what it is all 90% of my cpu is going to nice tasks...paro my ignorance but what are nice tasks ad why is all my cpu going for them?

Nice is a unix command set up to enable better multitasking by giving each process a priority. In short, it's a system process and so you probably shouldn't quit it.

So, was it Bionic that was using up all your CPU power? Are you still having troubles? :)

no more troubles boinc is a sneaky sneaky app though you try deleting it and it can't because its still running then your like ok and quit it then try to delete but oh no its still running so you go to activity monitor and it shows its not running so you get all like  then you go to all tasks or w/e then you find it and quit it and now you can finally delete it.

Excellent. In future, if you're having trouble deleting something because it's in use, drag it to the Trash and restart. It should be ready to go once you've booted up again. :)
