Hey guys, how do you configure a macbook with a linksys router, the cd just comes in xp, and Im running windows.

Thanks in adavance.

yea, as in its 30 minutes old new, ok i got the admin page, but now it says safari cant open the page, its busy.

ok I have a wired router connecting my desktop to the cable modem. I just got a macbook and now I want to set up a wireless network, so i went out and bought a wireless router. So I want to set up a wireless router to use my mac and ipod touch around the house.

Ok, so what you have to do is:

1) Connect a computer to the router via an ethernet cable. go to 192.168.1.1 in your browser to enter the router configuration menu. Find the setting for Wireless and make sure wireless is turned on.

2) Connect the ethernet cable from the modem into the router.

3) Restart both the cable modem and the router.

4) On your mac, go to sys prefs->Network->Airport. You should then see your wireless network.
