Help mapping keyboard keys on PSX controller

Hello everyone,

I am trying to play WoW with a PS2 controller connected through a generic USB adapter to my Macbook (Late 2007) running Leopard 10.5.6. The controller works automatically with emulators but I can't seem to be able to map keys to it through WoWs key binding menu. Has anybody has any success with this or have any idea of a solution?
