I can't decide too, but currently I'm an Apple Music subscriber. I love the curated playlists, the clean UI and the better sound quality (personal opinion). I use it a lot on Apple Watch (Spotify doesn't have a dedicated app). Oh, of course, there is no limit for downloads and that's great. iCloud library is a good idea (when it works), but some bugs are too annoying.
Spotify has an excellent app without bugs and some great features such as Connect, social playlists and personal playlists (discovery and radar). And, at least here in Brasil, spotify's catalog is better.

As an *Android* user I find Spotify infinitely better. On the Mac I don't find them to be much different, other than the interface of course.
You're right. But Siri in Portuguese (my native language) is a mess.
Yes, you can create your own playlists, but the way of share them is different and sort of limited. You can only share your playlists on social networks (twitter, Facebook...) or via text messages (iMessage, SMS, WhatsApp and so on).
You can easily share playlists within Spotify. That is actually one of the coolest features in Spotify, since there's a myriad of great user-created playlists to explore for any genre or other grouping you can imagine. Nothing comparable exists on Apple Music. Of course you can share AM playlists with friends using some external social network, but there is no one place to easily search and browse what others have shared.
Personally, I prefer Spotify overall, mainly because:
- Their personalized Discover Weekly playlist is pure magic once it has learned your tastes for a few weeks.
- It keeps music from the subscription cleanly separated from my own iTunes library. I don't like the way Apple Music clutters everything up and forces you to add songs to your library before you can have them in a playlist. Others may prefer the integration though.
- Spotify has a web player, Apple Music requires iTunes to listen on a computer.
- Overall it just seems more focused and streamlined, whereas Apple Music was a bit of a mess when I tried it. That was months ago though, it may be better now.

I've used Spotify Premium for a two years and switched to Apple Music 6 months ago.
I switched because it's so much more convenient if you have multiple Apple device, since there's no Apple TV or Apple watch app for Spotify.
However, I honestly think Spotify so much better than Apple Music. I haven't found a single Apple Music playlist which isn't bs. Apple Music in iTunes is SO buggy, for example, if you add a song from an album you've saved to a playlist and remove the album anytime afterwards, the song will be removed from the playlist as well... There's still no collaborative playlists on Apple Music and my weekly playlist at Apple Music sucks every week. I've told them so many times I don't like EDM for example, disliked every single EDM track on my weekly playlist but they keep adding EDM tracks on my playlist... The weekly playlist on Spotify on the other hand was amazing.
So yes, I think Spotify is way better. But Apple Music is just so much more convenient. That's why I'm paying for a service I like less.

Spotify is terrible. Great service to hear the same 20 song playlist over and over again. I listen to full albums all the time hits and b-sides and Spotify is missing many of the b-sides. AM and the subsidized Amazon Music has got me covered for all my music needs.
It seems that if you love country music Amazon Music Unlimited is the way to go. Not only do they have Garth Brooks but they also have missing country songs that are not available on AM, PM, Spotify. However for other types of music it it is missing then you won't even find it on Amazon Music.
Apple Music has two advantages: Siri integration and integration with your personal library via iCloud Music Library. If one or both of those are important to you, then Apple Music is good. Although you can get the latter with Google Play Music as well.
I personally don't use any streaming services. I find I don't use them enough to justify the cost. But I've tried them all, and Apple Music drives me nuts. It's buggy and I find its suggestions to be pretty lame.

Just FYI, you can turn this off in Settings > Music. There's a toggle there for keeping songs added to playlists from being added to your library.
