Help me decide used iPad Pro vs new iPad

Hi, I have an opportunity to buy a used first gen IPad Pro 10.5 64gb cellular in excellent condition with cover for $400 (no tax.) Or I can try to get a Black Friday deal and get a regular iPad 9.7 128 gb WiFi for around $350 plus tax. I currently own a 4 year old iPad mini. I will use my device to:
-watch lots of videos
-play low graphic games
- social media and web browsing
-sometimes taking photos

I bought my iPad mini because I didn’t want a huge bulky device. But, I have found that I am tired of watching Netflix etc. on the small screen. I do not typically use my ancient laptop, so this is the device I will use for most things. I do like to have freedom to download, but am only using about 40gb of my current 64gb on my mini.

So...buy the used IPad Pro 10.5 or try to find a deal on a 2018 IPad 9.7 on Black Friday.

There is no “first gen” 10.5 iPad Pro, only “the” 10.5 iPad Pro.

Check with your seller that it’s indeed the 10.5 and not the 9.7 iPad Pro and buy it. There’s a serious performance difference.
