Help me - embed javascript into cgi code

Thanks in advance for any help - I need to integrate a small javascript code snippet from google adwords on the confirmation page of a cgi shopping cart

The cgi code for the cart will display html but the cart gets broken when I simply paste in the javascript code

Any simple solutions?
