In persona non grata
I have just deleted a program from my Mac using appzappper. But now when I go to empty my trash I get the error message "Operation Cannot be Completed Because "Localized.rsrc" is in use". The program I am trying to get rid of is Palm Desktop. I have looked all over the place looking for this "localized. rsrc" to shut it down, but I can't find it. At first I was just trying to clear away an unwanted app, now this is taking on the proportions of a quest! Please help!

First thing would be to log out of your account and back in. There may be a program that launches when you log into your account that is using that file. Just because you've moved it to the trash doesn't mean it's not in use.

If that doesn't work I would try a reboot and then try to remove it from the trash...

Then if that doesn't work... well... read somebody else's post that knows more... :)

You can always delete it manually: start Terminal and issue the following commands.
cd .Trash; rm NameOfNaughtyFile
