So my wife got me a G4 iMac and a G5 Mac Pro (with dual CPU's)

Two things:

The Mac Pro doesn't have a hard drive. Any ATA 7200rpm will work right? Can I get two and make a raid? But I might just stick with one hard drive BECAUSE

How do you hook a monitor up to these things? The GPU has the weirdest looking (DVI?) port I've ever seen. Can I get a get a conversion cable with VGA or HDMI on one end? Or can I get a new GPU with HDMI out?

And honestly how fast is this thing? Should I just leave it as is, a pretty box that's disconnected? Which is fine honestly, I love it. Or should I fix it up, hook it up to a tv and run a slideshow from it? Or should I actually install the latest compatible OS and let the kids use it for productivity? I doubt modern Adobe Suite would even install... What would you guys do?

Edit, I might just restore it to original, with original spec HDD, install Tiger, and let it sit as a piece of history.

Edit2: Also looking for an access panel, the door that opens on the side with the apple logo. Mine is pretty scratched up. I found a bunch on eBay but they're all for newer Mac Pros. Anywhere else I can look for one? Thanks!

that connector is a ADC it had video and power works with the older apple flat panels there are other cards you can flash for the mac. the mac elite website has more info you will need a pc and a pci video card to do that good luck. FYI any sata hd will work the oem drives from micro center are a good cheap option.
