I have a folder called "iPod Touch Photos"
1.jpg

I sync this folder with iTunes using All Folders option. (but it doesn't matter. I tried another options without success.)

In the folder, there are two sub-folders: iPhone Wallpapers & iPod Touch
2.jpg

But in iPod Touch itself when synced, it magically created an album called Photo Library which is the sum of both sub-folders, and which I don't want.

This is, at best, confusing and at worst, very annoying. How can I get rid of this Photo Library album?
Also, how can I move some of my photos in Camera Roll to other albums?

Thanks in advance guys.

That's an automatic feature. I've never seen a way to turn that off.

Leave Apple some feedback requesting the ability to turn that off:

The only way I know is to import them to your computer, put them in the appropriate folders on your computer, then resync your touch.

Thank you. That almost like using Microsoft product. :p

the photos aren't duplicate. the library probably has all the actual files and the albums have links to those files.

Really? How can you know which one is actual files and which one is shortcuts?

You can't know; iOS takes care all of that internally. My guess is that the picture's entry in both albums are shortcuts/pointers/links, and they point to the same physical file.

If iOS was really duplicating photos, this would be a huge issue, and you'd see tons of people freaking out about it. ;)

OK then.

Also thank you for the link. There're lots of things I want to tell them about Photo and Mail.
