Hello, all. This is my first post here, and I just wanted to get some help with the iPhone SDK, how to use it, etc. More importantly, I'm trying to make an app for the iPod Touch (and iPhone, doesn't matter which), and I've hit quite a few roadblocks.

First, to let you all know, I've downloaded the SDK. It works like a charm! Anyway...

Problems include: my lack of knowledge on how to make an interactive, list-based game; my lack of understanding the SDK; and my lack of just plain never using the SDK before. Can anyone help me?

My goal is to make a game based on the iPod nano (1st & 2nd Gen) game, Music Quiz. I found it to be quite entertaining once in a while, and it was good! The only trouble is, I don't know if it's not on the app store, or if I just haven't looked hard enough.

Thanks, all!

*coughs politely* yeah... kinda. ObjC/Cocoa/Apple dev tools are the only way to develop legally for the iphone/touch. Also, you will have absolutely no access to the music in any way so doing music quiz is impossible for anyone but Apple currently. You can't get info on what's playing, play, pause, skip, anything. It's just there.

Well, thanks anyway... I guess this means I downloaded the SDK for nothing, then...
