Help me... MY iPhone IMEI # Changed?


Actually I did unlock my phone. cuz i am using T-mobile service.

I noticed the imei # on the back of my iphone didn't match the IMEI number displayed on the screen. Any Ideas on how to fix it? Any Idea on how the IMEI Changed?

Please help me my phone is a block.

Sounds like you used anySim or iUnlock tools, if you did you corrupted your NVRAM with these tools, so if you upgraded to 1.1.1 then you got a brick, only way to recover it is to downgrade to 1.02 and downgrade the baseband to 3.14 and rerun one of those unlock tools, which will get the IMEI back to normal. Right now no way to keep the baseband in virgin state and have the correct IMEI once you have used them unlock tools.

Hey guys i got the same situation . My itunes won't let me restore and ibrickr won't let me degrade . What other programs can I use to get it to downgrade? Please help

well you could use iphonesimfree it will fix all of it up or erase the baseband but just to say this look whats happening it motorola did something wrong with there phones nobody cares but if iphone does it everything goes crazy lol its just hilarious

Hehe yeah the only reason why im tripping really bad is cause my girlfreind bought me this iphone. It makes me really angry that Apple can lock your phone and make it useless. Thanks for all the generous help. Ill get my freind MAC computer since I ain't got one , see if that works.
