Ok, so here is why I cant make up my mind and I hope some of you can help me out. I do not know a lot about computers and I have never owned a mac before. I am doubting to get the air but i dont know if it will work properly for me. The question is can the basic 11inch model cope with browsing ( always have a lot of tabs open) having two word document open, itunes and some pdfs simultaneously? So without stalling or waiting. Furthermore I am in doubt if 11 will do it for me or the 13. If i buy one, it would become my only computer and at home I will hook it op to my 19inch screen if im sitting behind my desk. Someone please give me some advise cause i am stuck in the middle.

If it is your only computer I would go for the 13" mode with 4GB of ram.
That's my opinion based on what you wrote. You could also get by with an 11" with 4GB, but personally if it was my only computer I would get the 13".
