HI!
I need a program for recover files for my mac.

Any idea of a good for that?
Thanks

Norton Utilities.
If your cash strapped, go to a local university of junior college and see if you can buy it at a student discount. Most school stores don't ask for ID.

did your whole hard drive die? what os? just recovering deleted files?

norton systemworks 3 just came out, that's a good bet.

Data Rescue

An absolutely perfect tool for trying to recover data off an HFS+ volume, even without mounting that volume!

I have used this tool at work a couple of times. Norton, Disk Warrior and other utils try to mount the volume, trying to repair it.
Data Rescue is just there so that you can RECOVER data off a broken disk. It never let me down.
