Multiple reasons I need to remove my Jailbreak: Need to do the software update when they allow T-Mobile's LTE, and it keeps randomly respringing.

How do I remove the Jailbreak without losing all of my photos, contacts, and non-cydia apps?

Thanks guys

Backup into itunes and transfer purchases restore and sync and restore

Make a backup in itunes

after that put the phone in DFU and restore to latest firmware

Oh wow so it is that simple? I back it up to itunes like usual WHILE it is jailbroken and it won't do any weird things when I restore it and connect it back to itunes?

Just a FYI, carrier updates don't break a jailbreak unless it comes in the form of an iOS update

Cool... So it'll be safe to update if its only a carrier update? What if it ruins the jailbreak would I lose everything?

Just use itunes backup as stated above, then take the carrier update.
It should be just fine and not cause any issues with the jailbreak.
If it did, what does it matter, you have a backup, at that point restore keeping in mind that you will NOT be able to jailbreak again any time soon.
Carrier settings can also be applied manually.

I personally would not even think of scrapping a jail-broken device going stock at this time, your phone is more valuable with the jailbreak as it stands now.

Nevermind, it appears an iOS update will be needed for T-Mobile LTE to work since apple changed the way on whether LTE can be on their phones or not

So the choice will be LTE (assuming you even fall into the range of their LTE) or jailbroken. And it probably respring a randomly because you have unstable tweaks or incompatible tweaks with iOS 6. I have a bunch of tweaks (over 50) and my phone is as stable as stock

I'm pretty sure that if you want Tmobiles LTE, you're going to have to get new hardware, not just update.

the current factory unlocked version (AT&T) has the hardware support for tmobile's LTE and has been stated that it'll work with tmobile's LTE. the software will be out at a later date (i'm assuming on april 12th). it's the 3G on the AWS bands (1700/2100 MHz) that you need to get the new iphone for if you want that capability
