Please help me understand the tethered JB better. I've jailbroken many iPhones and am completely comfortable doing it, but they have all been un-tethered. My ATV2 is always plugged in and connected via Ethernet. I know i'll have to hook up to the PC to JB, but what issues are posed by the tethering aspect of the JB?

Thanks in advance

A tethered jailbreak means that you need to plug your iDevice into a computer and boot from DFU mode to get it to turn on. Once it's on everything functions properly and the device will be jailbroken. If the device loses power, is turned off, or reset, it will not boot until plugged into a computer.

So, if it stays plugged in (and I don't lose power), i've got nothing to worry about. If i do lose power, i have to hook back up to the PC to reboot. Do i have to put the ATV into DFU mode? How does that work?
Or do you just plug in and launch Seas0npass?

Just read an FAQ about it, think i got that part

follow up question, after I disconnect from the PC, take it to the family room and hook back up to the TV, will it boot?
