What do you mean by "change the location of my music" (other than transferring the music to the other computer)? Did you change the location of your library in the preferences setting yet?

If your library is correctly set to the new location, you shouldn't have to change anything manually. The not-found alert icons may remain until you listen to the song again, but the next time iTunes tries to play it, it should be able to find it and will lose the alert icon then. As long as the library location is set correctly.

Don't move files around in the iTunes Music Library in Finder.

This is all windows. I have no idea what you run.

If you're talking about downloaded music, try going to C:/Documents and Settings/<insert user name>/shared/

iTunes imports to C:/Documents and Settings/<insert user name>/My Documents/My Music/iTunes/iTunes Music

Then it's listed by author.

You can choose to copy audio from shared foldre to the default itunes folder through itunes. Edit>Preferences Advanced tab. Second check-mark down.

If you're running a mac, then I just wasted 5 minutes of my life.
