HELP! Media controls for Apple TV showing on Lock Screen

When I am watching Apple TV, the media controls for the TV show keep showing up my Lock Screen when it is locked. I keep having to switch it from “Apple TV Media” to “iPhone” in control center to get rid of it. See attached photo. I am not sure of the setting to stop the auto pop-up controls because it did not happen on my last iPhone. Help me!!

Pretty sure that's just how it works in iOS 16 now. Same thing happens for me and my HomePod mini. Don't think there's a way to turn it off.

This is incredibly annoying. I bought two Home Pods recently and have them paired as stereo speakers with my Apple TV. I don’t want my lock screen showing what’s playing on my TV regardless of who’s watching TV.
