I have a terrible problem:

I have always been a PC user and I switched to Mac
We are using Power Mac G4 Dual 1.42, with OSX 1.2.6
We have a USB Printer Hewlett Packard 5550V

My wife and I are palm users she uses an m130 from Palm, for Mac and I have a Clié NX70V/U from Sony.

I thought that the Palm Desktop program was too hard to use, (being used to it’s version in Windows) so I decided to synchronize my Clié using iSync, so I would use iCal and Address book rather syncing with Palm Desktop. My wife decided to remain with Palm Desktop.

It took us a while to figure out that my wife’s date book, and address book and note pad are not syncing. In the Hotsync Manager Conduits, the conduits disappeared leaving only the option to sync with iSync, which has the option turned off.

What happened?

1. Should I reinstall Palm Desktop to recover the conduits of my wife without harming my Clié’s synchronization with iSync?

2. Or if iSync took over both users in the Hotsync manager, How come I can’t change the user in iCal or Address book. Would it be that iCal and Address Book can’t handle multiple users?

3. If iSync is the problem and there is no fix, and I would have to return to use Palm Desktop for the sake of my wife’s data, How do I uninstall iSync?

Thanks!
