HELP! MY IPAD MINI JUST MADE THE WEIRDEST NOISE!!

hey,

I've just been asleep when all of a sudden my iPad mini started this really loud electronic sound. I though it wasn't the iPad but I got up, and hit the iPad (because I blamed that first) and it stopped. Oh my god I was so scared, louder than an alien landing or something?? Anyone else had this? I don't want to go back to sleep now :/

Just kidding I wouldn't know. But I would suggest that you stop using it and get to an Apple Store ASAP, in case the thing kersplodes. It's likely just a software fault, bad driver etc so they can get you taken care of.
