HELP!...my "preview" is screwy!

When looking at file infos for music files (mp3, aac, etc.), my preview is distorted. I click on play and it will sound really loud and staticky. It's not the file, because it does it with any song now and they work perfectly fine in iTunes. Preview was working for me before. This just started happening today. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Nevermind...I figured it out. I clicked on the volume adjuster next to the play button and just moved the slider a little. And now it works like normal. I don't know why/how it got screwed up. I can turn that slider all the way up and it sounds normal now. so I don't think it was because it was jacked up all the way...
