Does anyone out there have a logic board for a powerbook G4? I need to get one for a G4 powerbook 17" 1.67Ghz. Working or non-working would be fine (as long as its not totally fried). I'd be willing to pay a reasonable price. Or if you don't have one any ideas on where I could go to find one? My computer is out of warrenty and there is no way I can afford a brand new board.
Thanks!!

My house!
As far as I know, 1.67GHz PowerBooks were introduced in April of 2005. All new or refurb Macs have a 1 year warranty. So your 17" 1.67 GHz PowerBook is NOT out of warranty. You may be thinking that it only has 90 Days of phone support?

Oh and BTW...I would get AppleCare for your PowerBook while you can. Its $349 well spent as you can see right now! You're PowerBook has to still be under warranty unless I'm thinking wrong. As long as its truly a 1.67 GHz PowerBook, then its only 9 months old at most.

Thanks for the info, I ordered this powerbook back in January 2005 but I hadn't bought the apple care on it so I thought it only had the 90 days. I'll try a repair place  hopefully they can sort it out.
