so, i'm trying to be a good half-sister to the children of my dad and his second wife. the kids are ages 6 and 4, and i've purchased a used emac for them for christmas. i plan to ship it out to them (they're on the east coast) in early december, and we'll be spending christmas with them. i'd really like to get some educational games or other software for them. if you have kids (or nieces, nephews, grandchildren, etc.) and have come across anything you found to be entertaining and educational, i'd love to hear it! :) the kids speak both spanish and english, so this can be leveraged as well.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! i've looked at the titles available in the apple store, and found a few that seemed good, but i've never tried any of them personally, of course.

thanks!

Hey.

We homeschool our three kids (9, 7, 6) and have purchased a number of titles from the jumpstart series. I've been very happy with most of their titles.

They are both PC and Mac, but I've only installed them on the PCs at home.

thanks for this suggestion! these look great - i like that they have so many options based on age/grade. i'll put these on my list to get them...

All the Reader Rabbit products are excellent. Also, KidPix is great fun and at least somewhat educational.

these look great as well! i think the reader rabbit stuff will be perfect for my half-brother in particular.

thanks!
