Hello,
I recently sent in a ton of Super 8 films (from the 1970s) in to have converted to digital format. They did a fine job but consolidated them all into two huge MP4 files over 16GB each. As these are several reels from different years, this is frustrating!
I tried opening in iMovie '09 (v.8.0.4) but it's not well suited for simply splitting one long video into several segments. It can be done but iMovie's workflow is tedious.
QuickTime isn't much better.
I'd rather have something that lets me
1. Open the video,
2. Select a start and end point,
3. Export that segment as a separate file,
4. Repeat until all segments are exported.
Is there anything better (ideally open source or free-ish) that can do this?
Thank you.
