My 2019 Mac Pro was working great without any issues, until this weekend. I had upgraded the internal SSD with one of the Apple SSD kits. I was planning to start the T2 chip restore process, when I notice that my Mac Pro will not even power on; instead I just see that the power LED (on top) and another LED on the power supply, are both flashing amber.

Can anyone here give me some ideas as to what might be wrong? I'm hoping that the computer didn't just now decide to "die" on me :(

Thanks!

Did you research how to do it beforehand, or just went for it blindly?

Because of the T2 chip -- you can't simply just open it up and throw new SSDs in there. There is a procedure that has to be followed:
