This might be a sort of odd request for help with iPhones but anyway;

I'm a student from the Netherlands (Europe) visiting Atlanta, GA this weekend and i really want too buy some iPhones. However i'm stuck at Apple's limit of 5 and I am even more afraid that the Apple store employees won't let me even buy any since i'm not a US-resident.

That's why i need your help, if your interested in meeting with me near some Apple Store (preferably Lenox Square) please send a message or reply! I'll offer 50$ for every 3 iPhones you can get me, upon the total sales price which i'll directly give you in cash. And a cup of coffee, in case you want one :)

Moderators i'm really sorry if it doesn't belong in this topic.

Have been thinking about that as well, but I'm traveling with another Dutch friend so that doesn't solve any problems.. Maybe someone at the hotel i'm staying and otherwise I'll just randomly ask people in the shopping mall. But still hoping to meet some kind Macrumors Atlanta folks!

well, if you go to the apple you store, you should each be able to purchase 5-- they don't ask for your address, so you will be able to get 10 at least-- they will only ask for your name and email address-- good luck (and i wouldn't advertise on a public forum that you are willing to give people large amounts of cash!)-- be safe

Thanks for your concern marykay, of course its safety first, but were 2 big guys. Though we might get 5 iphones each, it's not enough for all my friends to get one, they're really popular in Holland, especially since there's still no sign of any provider closing deals with Apple... Any Atlanta folks, let me hear ya!
