Hey. So, I have a Mac Pro 5,1 late 2010, I followed the instructions from a Mr Macintosh video on how to install Monterey on to my device. There comes a point when in the video, he says to set it so that we can boot from the SSD. Set the boot option thing to boot without the USB. But, when I restart, I get a weird terminal looking thing, that doesn’t allow me to boot Monterey, something to do with Firmware. I don’t know what to do. I’m running a 1tb Crucial BX500 SSD. Any help would be appreciated. The patches and whatnot have worked and the system is there on the USB, but won’t go any further.

Sorry, can't really help you.

1) I don't know which video you are talking about

2) I have no idea if you really follow that correctly

3) I can't see what's on that verbose boot screen

Basically no way to help without any detail information.

But if you want Monterey on your cMP 5,1, you can join this thread.
(P.S. Pease spend some time to read through the tread before you ask question)
