help! new SR MBP won't boot up.

Hi all,

My new MBP will no longer boot up. It will get to the gray apple screen, the gear will spin for about 10 seconds, then stop spinning. nothing more happens.

any ideas? keys to hold down while loading, etc.

I would like to avoid doing reinstallations of the OS if possible, as this is now my 2nd mbp to have problems (this one replaced my first) and have installed the software something like 8 times in the last 2 months.

Boot using the install DVD (by pressing C) and check if the internal drive shows up.
