Hello,
I have added an Apple photo widget to my iPad home.

The problem I have is that it updates very rarely and seems to pick always the same 10 photos out of 10.000 available. Am I making a mistake somewhere or ?

Thanks for helping,
Dan

Maybe give it some time? I've been on iOS 14 since the first beta, and the photos widget is by far my favorite feature. I'm constantly seeing new photos and memories of myself and my family. It updates several times a day and often is showing me something I haven't seen in the widget before.

Edit: Something I just thought of... Do you have your photos tagged with your friend's/family's names? I would assume that it uses that information to populate the Memories and Featured Photos section of the For You tab, which is where the widget pulls its photos from.

It's not a widget that goes randomly throughout all photos ever. It's a 'For You' widget. It should rotate through what's on the 'For You' page in Photos.

In the beta, it did get a little stuck sometimes though, or it took time for indexing.
