Hi,

I've installed mojave with my vega 64, and there is no boot, I disabled SIP, and downloaded opencore package 0.5.9 and tried to install it, I've dual X5690, 96GB memory, works well, I've rom updated to 144.0.0.0.0, so I Mojave in an nvme samsung 970 evo plus, it works very well. Now, I've begun to install opencore, mount my EFI partitionm and pasted directly the folder OC and BOOT, when I launch Bless OpenCore, I get the message (Cant'stafts/Colume/EFI/EFI/ON/OpenCore.efi), I've done some search on the forum and discover that I must creat another EFI folder under the partition EFI, so I copy the two folders OC and BOOT and launch Bless OpenCore and now I get another error message (could not set boot device property 0xe00002e2) What can I do, I fear to reboot my mac and everything blocks, I'm waiting to get answers here in this topic this night, I HOPE someone can help me,i really suffered while updating all this mac. PLEASE !! I'm waiting here. Thanks you

Any help, I'm here waiting, where are you friends?
You should copy the EFI folder over to the partition. That folder will have the Boot and OC folders inside. If you have an EFI folder on the partition already and it contains a folder named Apple...place the Boot and OC folders there with the Apple folder. In the second case it would be assumed that you're using your OS drive as your open core partition. It's advised against doing that. Find somewhere else to place it and bless it. Double check that SIP is disabled...

I've created it, and I've some news, even with the message error, I've booted, get the boot menu and the hardware acceleration, like this screenshot, the only problem, is that I can't boot to the windows drive with the installation of Mojave, with HighSierra and Radeon HD5870, I can boot to windows, but now I can't, so I don't understand, I think that I must reinstall windows, also, I find that the speed to reach the opencore boot screen is slow for and ssd nvme, have you any ideas?

Open core doesn't support legacy installs. It must be converted to UEFI to boot. Try setting your default boot device in system prefs to speed up the boot.

My win10 is installed alone in an ssd samsung 860 evo, and my system is an nvme 970 evo plus, and the partition disc is EFI in the system, do you mean that i must convert that EFI to another one?

The Windows disk needs to be converted to UEFI mode to function with OpenCore. Google it. I used Winclone to do it. Just takes a second. However, if you look for the OpenCore/ReFind forum, they have a way to boot legacy windows. Also, I looked at your original screenshot. Do you have a small SSD data drive to move OpenCore? I suggested earlier to not use your OS boot drive for this.

So, no mention the conversion was a success? If you're getting a helper tools has to be installed message when trying again your version of Winclone is malfunctioning.

Windows usually has a 200MB EFI partition and the rest for the OS and any other self-created partitions.Windows has a built-in utility to make the switch but you'll need that drive in a PC with Windows to run. Worst for worst, you can always re-install Windows in UEFI mode utilizing a flash drive (Not the DVD).

Make a rom backup with dosdude's RomTool.

If you boot uefi Windows without opencore you will risk certificates in the nvram section. You cant get ridd of them without reflashing a backup.

Certificates could mess up the nvram and maybe will result in a botched firmware what avoids the Mac from booting.
