I need some eyes for an outside perspective.

I had the AW series 5 in stainless steel until this year when I upgraded to the series 9.

I purchased the SS first and thought I was bored with the color so I exchanged it for the Graphite.

Now i’m wavering on which one I should go for.

For reference I’m a woman who usually wears darker clothes. I love black and it’s usually part of my wardrobe during the day.

I also tried on the gold and was debating that as well for every day. I am sporty so I’m usually not dressing up too much.

Any help is appreciated!

Keep the graphite. It’s lovely. You are experiencing buyer’s remorse. It will pass.
Enjoy!

thank you, it’s tough! I love them all.
get them all? ;)

I'm only commenting to let you know that IF you scratch your graphite watch, it will show and you cannot "buff" it out like you can with the plain SS. Graphite is a PVD coating ...
And, for the price of the actual watch, get AC+

Wish I could! haha. That was my one concern. But i’ve heard it’s also harder to scratch. I never really polished out the scratches on my stainless steel when I had it.

I do like it! It just feels a little more
manly to me.
Well I can see where the SS could be made more girly with a pink or lighter color band but the black doesn’t look especially manly. I don’t think people are looking at your watch that closely. People are going to notice your outfit more than anything

True and the Graphite does blend in more than the others.

ok, I don't want to talk you out of it, just raising awareness. One band you should avoid is the Milanese loop, there have been multiple reports here that it scratches pretty much every watch

you’ve convinced me. I’m going back tonight to exchange it for the ss. It’s embarrassing this is my third time but I should have just stuck with the stainless in the first place.

Good decision, the SS Is a classic look that goes well with every color outfit and pretty much any color band.
And if it does get scratched, it’s the easiest to remove scratches from.
This opinion is coming from someone who owns four Apple Watches, including the stainless steel and the Hermes space black stainless steel.

I´ve had the SS gold 6 and looks very good with almost all the watchbands, the gold looks more stylish, less casual.
True I have the same Apple Watch color and series as well. Also ladies you can match it with any outfit or jewelry. I personally pair it with a gold Milanese Loop, 14K gold rings and everything in between.

Regular stainless steel is too plain and is susceptible to scratches. Here’s mines and trying on other colors of stainless steel. I only have a pic in space black, no graphite. All are 40mm/41mm models IMG_3442.jpeg IMG_3359.jpeg IMG_3362.jpeg IMG_7060.jpeg
