Help playing CS using Crossover Games!

Ok, all I want to do is use Steam and play CS using Crossover.
I can't find a guide on how to actually USE crossover, making it useless to me.
Can someone walk me through this real quick?
I've been messing around with this for at least an hour and a half already.
