Help Please- Setting Up an Exchange account on iPhone/iOS 5

I have my Exchange account set up seamlessly with my mac (Snow Leopard), Mail, contacts, and calendars all sync without an issue, but I'm having one heck of a time getting it set up with my iphone and/or ipad.

*I've searched quite a bit on how to get this to all sync up, but nothing has worked.

*Below are what I believe to be the relevant settings in the OSX Mail app, as well as the "About" from my outlook web app.

*IMAP/POP are also disabled by default.. so I can't automatically go that way.. but like I said, syncing to the mail app on OSX was a breeze.. why is it different for iOS?

*I recognize that the server seems to be a .corp, which would possibly mean I need to be on our VPN to access it, but it works just fine from my personal laptop with no VPN access, even pushing e-mails to the OSX mail app.

Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. Our company has kind of a "don't ask, don't tell" thing going on when it comes to syncing personal devices to our e-mails.. they don't officially support any devices that the company doesn't own, but if we can figure out how to get them up and running ourselves, then that's totally fine. Either way, contacting IT about this isn't really an option.

Exchange setup on iOS devices is different than on a laptop/desktop since it's using Activesync.

Figure out how you'd access your Exchange server via OWA (Outlook Web Access) and use those settings in the iPhone.

You'll want something like owa.company.com or similar, and your username/domain are likely whatever active directory username & domain you'd use when logging in via OWA.

to access from the web I use "https://mail.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.com/" then use my username and password to log in.. I tried simply entering that into my domain and username, but had no luck.

When logged into OWA, check the hostname you end up with in the address field. Otherwise, best to seek help from your Exchange admin; ask for the particulars for an Activesync connection. It is also possible they don't have it enabled.

On my setup, email is the normal external address, server is owa.company.com (same as I use to access OWA), domain is my login domain, username is my domain user account (completely different from my email).
