help please with 2.2 jb

I followed the instructions of http://www.hackthatphone.com/20/pwnagetool_2_2_3G_iphone_expert_2.html
and everything seemed to work out fine, but when I look at my Iphone it doesnt show any of my jailbroken apps or cyndia or installer.
is this a common problem and can anyone help me?

Did you check the Install Cydia Box in Pwnage when you made your image? Did you have the phone in DFU mode when you restored your new image?

Do you have a custom boot logo to confirm your image was actually installed? This is not common at all, so you probably just missed a step. Try again and it should work.
